Elliot Davies was one of our junior Black Belts and trained with us at our club in Cheddar. He was hit by a car while on his way to school on Wednesday 7th January 2009. The Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance airlifted Elliot to the Royal United Hospital in Bath, where sadly he died from his injuries. He was just 13 years old. He was a dedicated and loyal student. A loving son, and brother. His enthusiasm and energy was a shining example to us all.
The Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance responds to any type of emergency, but especially road traffic collisions, horse riders and walkers, as well as medical emergencies. To ensure that this vital, life saving services continues, the charity needs in excess of £3,500 per day. With no support from the Government or the National Lottery, they rely solely on voluntary donations to keep this essential service flying.
Gemini Tae Kwon-Do are dedicated to fundraising for the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance Charity. We are always working hard to raise money for them in Elliot’s memory. We could not think of a better way to pay tribute to him than to support this great cause.
