The TAGB is a professional and internationally recognised Tae Kwon-Do organisation. It was formed in 1983 and has since become the founding member of the British Tae Kwon-Do Council (BTC), and has the full support of Sport UK (formerly the British Sports Council).
The TAGB is the largest and most successful single martial arts organisation in Europe, with more than 26,000 licensed members training in over 700 clubs.
The TAGB guarantees qualified, experienced instructors who are enhanced CRB checked, have full professional indemnity insurance cover, and follow a carefully structured teaching syllabus.
Tae Kwon-Do has been taught in the South West of England since the 1st February 1975, under the guidance of Mr Michael Dew who is currently an 8th Degree Black Belt, Vice Chairman of the TAGB, and Vice Chairman of the British Tae Kwon-Do Council.
Mr Dew is the South West of England Area Representative on the TAGB Committee and Area Grading Examiner. He works closely with all the TAGB Instructors within his area to ensure the TAGB’s professional and high standards are constantly maintained.
