Just wanna let you know that I really appreciate the way you have welcomed me into the Tae Kwon-Do world. I feel so much better than this time last year. Cheers!
Having trained at Gemini Tae Kwon Do for over 9 years, I have clearly enjoyed it!
The instruction and teaching is varied every lesson and engages your mind and body. You work as hard as you want, obviously you’re encouraged to push yourself but in the end you decide.
Tae Kwon Do has kept me drawn in throughout my school years and into university and I don’t think I will ever stop training. It has been significant in making me who I am, it has taught me self-control and the benefits of hard work.
Jane Lambert is the best teacher I have ever had, she varies her teaching style between people to find the way that each person learns best. The assistant instructors are also great and both clubs are very welcoming and encourage taking part in club events.
Whoever you are – young, not so young. Fit, not so fit. Self confident or not so confident, everyone will have a different reason for wanting to study Tae Kwon-Do.
Whether you want to be able to defend yourself, improve your fitness, improve your self confidence, compete at the highest level, instill self discipline and respect in your children, challenge yourself both physically and mentally, maybe even become a Champion, or simply have a huge amount of fun, then Tae Kwon-Do can help you to achieve all of this, these as well as many other things!
If you are looking for a professional school, with qualified, professional Instructors, which is a member of the largest professional Tae Kwon-Do organisation in Europe, then I cannot recommend Gemini Tae Kwon-Do enough.
It is rare to find someone who is capable of doing as well as teaching! Someone who can inspire, motivate, lead and coach in equal measure, to all students from 5 years of age to 85 years old.
Whatever your reason for training in Tae Kwon Do, you will be encouraged, motivated, supported and inspired to set your own goals and targets and then be helped at every step of the way to both realise and surpass them, reaching your potential, becoming the best that you can be, by a first rate instructor and her team, who can all do as well as teach…….
My young son, who is nearly 8 trains and competes – in fact we train together, which is highly valuable father son time!
I cannot recommend the approach to the family class highly enough it is excellent.
There is nothing stopping you coming along and giving it a try
I have been a student at Portishead since January 2011. My children joined at the same time. The concept of having a joint family class is just fantastic for the pleasure we get from learning with each other and other families. The instruction given to us has seen us flourish from awkward movers to National bronze medallist for my daughter and blue for my son and I. I am always struck by the balance of wit and humour, careful instruction, motivation and dedication that is demonstrate to my family and across the range of ages and skills in the class. This brings out the best in us all. I have listened to members from other classes praising the teaching on offer at Gemini Schools.
I cannot recommend this class highly enough to any potential student. As a pick me up after a long day at school or work there isn’t much that’s better.
It has taught me a lot about myself and the discipline of Tae Kwon Do and given us a tremendous sense of pride, achievement and pleasure to be your students.
Gemini Tae Kwon-Do is the common link that runs through our family, training gives us an opportunity for the five of us to be together, twice a week, training, improving our mastery of Tae Kwon-Do and helping others improve.
The club is so family-friendly that whole rows of students are related to each other! I have benefitted so much through Tae Kwon-Do, through my training I have gained in confidence and self-assurance. I have seen my skills develop and be nurtured to develop further. My study of Tae Kwon-Do has been a journey, one that has been challenging and rewarding. Being part of the club is much, much more than taking part in training, it is being part of a wider family, one that encompasses the whole of the UK and the world.
I have been proud to meet and learn from so many individuals that are truly inspirational and have always looked forward to the new challenges that each training session brings.
I do Tae Kwon-Do because I want to improve myself, I train with Gemini because they provide the perfect environment to improve in. One of the reasons I love the club is because it is a place for all ages and abilities to develop their talents. As an adult starting in the club, I looked up to those senior grades and as a senior grade myself, I am proud to wear the club dobok and be a role model for those starting on their journey.
The club’s success is down to the dedication, preparation and motivation of all the instructors. They treat all students as individuals, encouraging us all to succeed to be the best that we can be.
When I took Sol (age 5) and Raf (age 3) to their first Tae Kwon-do lesson four years ago I had no idea how important it would become for all of us. After a few lessons where I watched from the back I was surprised to find that I wanted to join in too.
Since then TKD has become an important part of our lives which I can’t imagine being without. I am happy for us to be doing an activity as a family which is both fun and challenging, physically and mentally.
I love the way it promotes discipline and respect whilst keeping us fit and healthy! All of us enjoy the sense of achievement we feel after working hard and being rewarded with our new belts. It teaches the valuable lesson that if you are prepared to make an effort you will reach greater heights!
Classes are a place where we mix with people of all ages and are taught to respect each other. We have made many new friends since starting Tae Kwon-do, and enjoy spending time together outside class too.
Gemini instructors are inspirational, motivational, and fun. Thank you Gemini for changing our lives!
