Colin was a true gentleman, an inspiration and someone who I was proud to call a friend. He trained with me for over 21 years, gained his 4th Degree Black Belt and only stopped training at the age of 79 when his health made it impossible. He was the truest of Black Belts, dedicated to his art and his club. He was always so generous with his time. Did he win lots of medals and trophies? No. Did he win our hearts and inspire us all? Most definitely and emphatically yes!
Today is a very sad day, my love and my thoughts are will him and his family. xxx
Mr Wilde’s family are celebrating his amazing life and saying their final goodbyes on Thursday 19th March at Mendip Crematorium and have invited all those who were part of his Tae Kwon-Do journey to join them.
As a sign of respect, we have made the difficult decision of cancelling all our lessons on that day. This will allow us time to reflect and grieve. All student are very welcome to join us in Cheddar on Friday 20th.
We very much appreciate your support and understanding.
